A Glimpse into Sam's Day

He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.

A New Friend
Sam was feeling a little sad. He hoped to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was running in the yard, he saw something unusual. It was a little animal with bright fur. Sam slowly went up to the creature and said, "Hello! What's your title?" The creature grinned and told Sam, "My name is Lily!" And website so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day talking together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be close buddies forever.
